A glimpse of your image
shadows of your kiss
to see into your eyes
one day I wish

To step across time
to fly over fields
such a small distance
for a soul to heal

Snowflakes echo from the hills
waiting in a quiet tear
I listen for your voice
as whispers float to my ear

The waters reflect a blue sky
as our thoughts keep it still
to see into your eyes
one day I will
